Libraries around the country are enriching the lives of their patrons with the science-focused Summer Reading Theme of Fizz! Boom! Read! Animal Embassy is delighted to take part in this venture as we present our science-based “Zoology for Kids” program to library audiences throughout Connecticut and New York.

While bringing the scientific study of Zoology to life with incredible live Animal Ambassadors, we encourage children to check out books about the animals and habitats about which they have learned during our presentation.

Library patrons meet a variety of animals from around the world, representing numerous habitats and classifications.

We introduce the concept that animals come in many different forms - with fur, feathers, fins or scales and long, tall, big or small – and they all play an important role in their environment.

With "Zoology for Kids," our goal is to uncover some of the mysteries of animal biology and introduce the concepts of classifications and habitats, as well as discuss the life of an animal scientist.

Children learn how we all, both humans and animals, play an important role in our habitat or community.

As places of learning, libraries provide an extraordinary environment for children to be inspired and discover the world around them. We are truly excited to be a part of this endeavor!
